The Art of Unwinding is a sacred pilgrimage to the desert heart of Tucson — where the silence of the saguaro, the softness of rose, and the power of ancient rituals will reawaken the creative fire within you.
Over 4 days, you’ll gather with a circle of wise, wild women to strip back what no longer belongs and reveal your essence through ritual, movement, and creating art.
You will create a sacred altar shawl—a custom silk piece dyed with plant pigments infused with intention—a reflection of your divine remembering.

Channel color through guided creative writing + journaling beneath the desert sun
Evening: shared meal preparation as communal nourishment
Begin your dyeing ritual with red, orange, and yellow — honoring the Grandmother Cactus’s life giving nature- honoring the flowers of her ancient wisdom
Cacao ceremony with sound bath, chanting & buzzwork to harmonize your creation

The retreat is being held at a private residence.

The retreat begins at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, and you can leave any time the morning of Tuesday, November 11, 2025. We’ll pick everyone up from the airport in a rental van.

Yes - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided. We’ll be reaching out with a food allergy questionnaire as the retreat gets closer. Additional things like alcohol can be purchased upon request at our celebration dinner, but are not included.

Comfortable clothes for walking, meditation, and movement

Car rental is entirely up to you. We’ll pick up from the Tucson, AZ airport in a rented van at specific times. Any other side excursions, or an Uber from the airport just for you, will be at your own cost and discretion.

We understand that sometimes life happens. A full refund is available, less the $500 deposit, if cancellation is made more than 8 weeks in advance of arrival. If cancellation is made less than 8 weeks before arrival, registrant is responsible for payment of the entire retreat amount with no refund.

If you are traveling with a friend and want to share a Double Occupancy room, each of you will need to book a Double Occupancy room & let us know you’re traveling together so we can place you in the same room.
If you are traveling solo and would like to book a Double Occupancy room, we will match you with a roommate, if one is available.
If one is not available, you’ll need to pay the Single Occupancy room rate.

The nearest airport is in Tucson, AZ. You can also fly into Phoenix, AZ, but then your transportation to the retreat space is not provided.

For everyone’s safety, we will ask that you sign a waiver. The waiver will be sent to you once you pay your deposit and secure your retreat spot.
